Why hello there!

I’m Wayne—an urban planner in training, a lifelong urbanist, and a proud Taiwanese-American. Currently pursuing my M.S. in Urban Planning at Columbia GSAPP, I’m passionate about shaping cities that are resilient, equitable, and well-designed. My focus spans real estate development, affordable housing solutions, and zoning innovations that balance growth with inclusivity.

Before grad school, I studied Urban Design and Architectural Studies at NYU and worked in media, nonprofits, and architectural organizations, giving me a deep appreciation for how storytelling and community engagement shape the built environment. I’m also a consumer tech enthusiast, a transit advocate, and an unapologetic coffee addict.

This site isn’t a formal portfolio—it’s more of a digital journal about my work, ideas, and evolving perspectives on planning and development. If any of this resonates, feel free to check out my bio, résumé, some of my work so far, and get in touch!
